The chua drum is of the percussion instruments of Viet people.
The chua drum is a single head drum made of pig bladder with the diameter of about 20 cm. The drumframe is made of hard wood about 3 cm high. It has one handle made of wood about 12 in height. The drumstick is made of wood lathed roundly (one big end and one small end) about 30 cm long.
The sound of the chua drum is high and melodious.
The chua drum is used to keep the time when people recite the Buddhist scriptures.
Performance pose: The player crosses his legs on the mat, holds the drum with his left hand, and holds the drumstick with his right hand.
