A LUALA rehearsal on Hanoi’s Ly
Thai To Street on November 6

The LUALA concert – co-organized by DX Corporation, the Music Publishing House, and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) – will feature 21 VNSO artists, including violinist Xuan Huy, who will lead 20 other string instrument artists.

The local artists will perform international and Vietnamese classical compositions at the door of the Music Publishing House, which is surrounded by several French colonial buildings.

The compositions will include The Waltz King (Jonhann Strauss), Divertimento in D major KV 136 - 137 and Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (W.A. Mozart), Serenade for Strings (P. I. Tchaikovsky), Air from Suite No 3 (J. S. Bach), and Hungarian Dance (Johannes Brahms).

The free concerts at 61 Ly Thai To Street, Hoan Kiem District are expected to attract tourists and locals.

After the show on November 11, free outdoor concerts will then take place every Saturday (from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.) and Sunday (from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.) until February 11.

According to organizers, most classical concerts take place in opera houses and theaters, but this project aims to bring the music to everyone.
