Diva to sing with national symphony orchestra

The fourth trans-Vietnam concert will come to four cities in Vietnam, and will include the Queen of Pop Thanh Lam.

Under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji, Thanh Lam will perform songs about Hanoi like “Nguoi Ha Noi” (Hanoian) by Nguyen Dinh Thi, and ”Hoa Sua” (Milky Flowers) by Hong Dang, amongst others.

The Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra will play extracts by Franz Schubert, Georges Bizet and three parts from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake” and “The Nutcracker.”

The concert will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on July 7-8, the Hai Phong City Theatre on July 20, Da Nang City’s Trung Vuong Theatre on July 23 and the HCM City Opera House on July 25.

This is one of the biggest annual music events in Vietnam, introducing some of the most cherished classical music works in the world.
