Brothers win six prizes at Australia international piano contests

Brothers Luu Hong Quang and Luu Duc Anh won six prizes at the 76th Sydney Eisteddfod piano contest held in Sydney, Australia from June 30 to July 16.

Participating for the third time in five out of eight categories, Luu Hong Quang won one special prize in the 18th century piano contest, two first prizes for  the 19th century piano and the Kawai piano and two third prizes for the Russian piano and the 20th or 21st century piano.

His brother Luu Duc Anh bagged fourth prize in the recital category.

Born in 1990, Luu Hong Quang was awarded a full scholarship to study at the Australian International Conservatorium of Music (AICM); Luu Duc Anh is a student at the Vietnam National Academy of Music (VNAM).
